Changing Limbs on Recurve Crossbows
The following recurve crossbows are compatible with interchangeable limbs, allowing you to adjust the draw weight:
- Man Kung MK-XB21 Rip Claw
- Man Kung MK-XB23 Anaconda
- Man Kung MK-XB27 Hound
These models can accommodate limbs with draw weights of 150 LBS, 95 LBS, and 40 LBS.
Note: it does not matter which specific model you have in regards to BK, FC or GODC as these identifiers only stand for its colour.
Considerations for Changing Limbs
When opting to change the limbs on your crossbow, it's essential to consider the impact on performance:
- Draw Weight: Lowering the draw weight will generally result in a decrease in the crossbow's power.
- Velocity: A reduced draw weight typically leads to lower bolt velocity.
- Accuracy: With a lower velocity, the effective range and accuracy of your crossbow may also decrease.
