Warranty Information
A lot of our products have the standard 2-year warranty, but exceptions are applicable. As per Dutch law, the guarantee duration is dependent on the expected lifespan of a product.
Conditions for Warranty
- you may not have caused the problem yourself
- you must report the problem to the seller within two months of discovering it
- there is 'non-conformity'; the product doesn't perform as you should be able to expect it to
Examples
Arrows / Bolts
You've purchased some bolts a week ago. For fun, you decide to shoot them at a concrete wall, and several bolts are damaged. Their points appear damaged, and the carbon body of the bolt is splitting. The bolts were not meant for that type of target. In this situation, you've caused the problem yourself by using the bolts on a target that was obviously not suitable for this usage.
Crossbow
You've cared well for the crossbow you bought from us, making sure to wax timely and following the manual on maintenance. Unfortunately, after a year of use you notice that there's an issue with the trigger. Within a week, you report the issue to us. This is a warranty case. The crossbows will easily last longer than 2 years when they're well-cared for, and the issue was reported within two months of discovering it.
Archery Bow
A nice Man Kung archery bow was gifted to you. After a few months you notice some issues with the bow, so you ask your friend where they purchased it from. That shop has long wait times, so instead you contact us for your warranty issue instead. After all, it's a Man Kung bow, right?
Depending on the issues with your bow, you may have a warranty case, but as it was not bought from us, you have no warranty case with us. You need to go to the store it was bought from for your warranty case.
Strings
Strings need to be replaced at least every 2 years (preferably annually) or every 500 shots. However, improper waxing and other misuse may cause it to degrade much faster.
If you're a very eager shooter and the string breaks after 700 shots but within the 2 years, it doesn't fall within the warranty. The expected lifespan of the product was 500 shots. The string breaking after 700 shots doesn't follow non-conformity.
